Over 25 years ago I became fascinated with psychology while I was studying in college. Looking for chances to offer help, I began working at a crisis hotline. I was struck at how listening and offering coping methods could help people in their most trying moments. Since that modest beginning, I have been honored to work with people of all walks of life and for varying needs. I have had the good fortune to learn cutting edge psychological practices in some of the best training facilities in the US. Many of the tools I use come from cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior therapy and mindfulness-based practices.
I spend much of my professional time helping people cope with anxiety, panic, fears and obsessions. Likewise, I help family members communicate with their loved ones who may be struggling with anxiety or OCD. I'm also very interested in helping people optimize their physical and mental well-being.
